EMC SP serial port connet

Set the SP management port IP address through the serial port

Open a supported browser and enter the following URL: 192.168.1.1/setup

 In the Storage Processor Network Configuration setup screen that appears, 

specify the following for the SP you are connected to:

IP address

Hostname

Subnet mask

Gateway address 

IP address for the SP you are not connected to (the peer)

f. Click Apply Settings.

g.  After about 30 seconds, a confirmation screen appears, listing the network configuration information you entered in the previous step.

    The confirmation screen also includes a message informing you that SP is rebooting.

h. Wait several minutes, allowing the SP to boot and Navisphere to start.
